The new 2015 Mercedes GLA 45 AMG is the sports version of the new Mercedes GLA-Class which was first seen as a concept car in April 2013 at the Shanghai Auto Show. It was then unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show showing that Mercedes intended to release this car as a production vehicle in 2014. The GLA is expected to compete with the likes of the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 in the compact crossover class. The AMG is the sportier version of the GLA-Class and this vehicle is aimed at the younger market and is a very stylish looking vehicle which has incredibly good performance too. The GLA 45 AMG shares many of its hardware components with the GLA 250 but has the AMG technology which adds the extra power and performance. This vehicle comes with a 2.0L petrol engine which offers an incredible 355bhp and has 332lb-ft torque. This engine is coupled to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox and the AMG has Mercedes 4MATIC AWD system. The GLA 45 AMG is capable of 0-100kmh in 4.8 seconds which is incredibly fast. As yet there has not been an official price unveiled but the vehicle is expected for release towards the end of the summer 2014. This car comes with fitted sports suspension, AMG sports exhaust, 19” inch alloys and has some nice exterior touches too. It comes with a front splitter, side sills and some sleek looking curves. The interior design is fitted with Recaro seats, AMG gear shifter and much more. This is certainly a vehicle which will raise a few eye brows.
