The Citroen C4 Cactus has shown that it has exceptional fuel economy in the recent MPG Marathon. This year's ALD Automotive Fleet World MPG Marathon was held recently and the Citroën C4 Cactus BlueHDi 100 Feel returned figures of 95mpg which is exceptional for this type of vehicle. These figures meant that the C4 Cactus finished third out of 20 passenger vehicles. The MPG Marathon took place over a 330 mile route between the Cotswolds, South Wales and the South Midlands. Drivers had to ensure that their average speed was kept to a minimum of 30mph in order to avoid any penalties. The C4 Cactus was driven by journalist John Kendall and his co-driver was Dr Paul Nieuwenhuis. John Parfett is the Communications Director at Citroen UK and this is what he had to say about the C4 Cactus MPG figures: "The MPG Marathon is a real test of a vehicle’s capabilities in terms of fuel economy. In the experienced hands of John Kendall and was Dr Paul Nieuwenhuis, our latest addition to the range has proved its exceptional fuel efficiency in some very demanding conditions." The Citroen C4 Cactus only entered production earlier this year and you can read our full review on this vehicle by clicking here. What do you think of the Citroen C4 Cactus?
