Rover 75 Overview
The Rover 75 is classed as an executive car and was produced from 1999-2005 by the British car manufacturing company Rover. The first phase of this car was produced by the Rover Group then by MG Rover. This car was available in saloon and estate versions and was a front wheel drive car. These vehicles are well refined, comfortable, and are a classier alternative to such cars as the Ford Mondeo, and a step down from cars like the BMW 3-series. Rover 75 History
The Rover 75 entered production in 1999 and was originally intended as a replacement for the Rover 600. When BMW took over the Rover Group they scrapped the design platform of the Rover 600 and wanted this new car built on a totally new platform. Fortunately the Rover team were allowed to design this car without too much interference from BMW, keeping with traditional Rover design philosophy as much as possible.
The design of this car had mixed reviews but became rather successful with the general public, with its slick ‘retro’ design. The Tourer was introduced as the estate version in 2001 and had a lot of room in the rear. In 2004 the Rover 75 changed the look of the car to a more standard European look, which again received mixed reactions, sometimes you just can’t win when comes to critics!
This car ceased production in 2005 when MG Rover went into administration.

This vehicle had 1.8, 2.0, 2.5 and 4.6 petrol engines, 2.5L LPG and 2.0L diesel engines.
