Audi S5 Sportback Overview
The Audi S5 Sportback is classed as a compact executive car which is produced by the German automobile manufacturing company Audi, which is a division of the Volkswagen Group. The Sportback version of the S5 was introduced in 2010, but was never made available for the North American market. The S5 range is the high performance version of the Audi A5 which also has the Audi Quattro 4x4 system. The Sportback version has the 3.0L V6 engine with the 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox. This car is very spacious in the cabin and the boot area is pretty spacious for a hatchback car. The handling ain't too great but it sticks to the road when cornering. Audi S5 Sportback History
The Audi S5 Sportback was introduced in 2010 when the current Coupe and Cabriolet versions were having some minor alterations made to them. The Sportback is the hatchback version which was only ever available with the 3.0L V6 engine and the 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox. This version was never sold on the North American market.
In 2012 there was a facelifted version introduced, which had the new start/stop technology, improving fuel economy and a new front end design. There were also some interior updates. This is the current version on the market.
