About Panel Fronts

The Iveco front panel is a pressed steel or plastic car body part that makes up the front face of the vehicle. It's designed to be specific to the make and model of your vehicle.

This rigid piece connects the two front wings. The Iveco front panel is bolted to the front of the chassis and to the left and right wings. Forming an integral part of the car body, the Iveco front panel functions to protect the vehicle, passengers and driver inside the car, forming part of the car body.

The front panel usually houses the radiator grille, sometimes headlights and indicators and the engine bonnet lock. The car badge is often displayed on the front panel of the vehicle.

The usual reason for replacement of this part is frontal crash damage.

Iveco trivia

  • Iveco is actually five different European companies that formed in 1975. The brands from Italy, Germany, and France decided that they'd make more of an impact by pooling their resources, and the gamble certainly paid off.
  • Between 1975 and 1979 alone, Iveco had more than 200 basic vehicles for sale, with over 600 versions in total! No wonder they had got such a big market share so quickly.
  • As winners of the IF Design Award in 2020, Iveco has joined the ranks of some of the most beautiful and practical products in the world. The prestigious award is granted to only the best in designed products, and the Iveco S-Way is the perfect example.
  • In 1986, Iveco rolled out its first vehicle with electric propulsion. This was a trial, but it was quickly adopted across their full range of buses, as well as many of their truck models.
  • While Iveco is certainly affiliated with big names like Ford and Jeep, the fact is that Iveco vehicles are uniquely designed, and they share very little of their underpinnings with even their closest partners.
